Sunflower fields were scattered all over the latter part of my spainish ride. Most of them had shed their petals or been harvested but this field high up in a mountain section was in full flower. What the still picture can't convey is that as the wind blew the flower heads the field seemed to flash from bright to brighter yellow every few seconds.
